ABOUT ME

My name is Tanya, and until 2024 I worked for the NHS in a Specialist Older Persons Community Mental Health Team in Dorset. I was privileged to work within this service for 19 years.
I have predominantly worked with people over the age of 65 living with a range of physical and mental health conditions, with the aim of supporting people to live at home, despite the challenges they may face.
I have also worked with young adults with learning and physical disabilities in the private sector.
A move to Cornwall for my husband’s work encouraged me to take on a new challenge, and something I have wanted to do for a long time, run my own home care business.
And I do not take the privilege of supporting people to achieve their desired goals, whilst remaining independent at home lightly.

I have developed a vast range of skills and knowledge that I can apply to deliver a flexible person centered approach of care .
I have achieved excellent care qualifications and certificates of training, including an NVQ 3 in Health & Social Care.
I specialise in providing care for individuals living with dementia and other neurological conditions, such as progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) motor neurone disease (MND) and Parkinson’s disease, though not exclusively. I am passionate and committed to enabling my clients to live a rich and fulfilling life.
I aim to provide a friendly, personalised service by offering practical and emotional support that will improve the well-being of the people in my care and make their daily life a little bit easier.

To make compassionate, person-centered home care accessible to individuals who wish to live independently, safely, and with dignity in the comfort of their own home.

My mission is to deliver exceptional, reliable and heartfelt care that nurtures both physical and emotional well-being. I aim to build genuine therapeutic relationships based on trust, empathy and respect. Supporting clients and their loved ones through every stage of their journey, with kindness and professionalism at the heart of all I do

I prioritise the well-being, comfort and individual needs of each person I care for. My aim is to ensure you or your loved one receives truly personalised care and support, provided with compassion and respect, in the familiar comfort of home.
My approach is built on empathy, reliability and genuine connection. I take the time to understand each person’s routines, preferences and values, because I believe great care is never just about completing tasks – It’s about building trust and understanding.
By working closely with individuals and their families, I create tailored care plans that adapt as needs change. Every aspect of the care I provide is delivered with dignity, kindness and a commitment to improving quality of life.
